As a Hoosier fan- I've seen Crawford and Allen put up big time moments so far- how many other former Hoosiers are lighting it up that I've missed?

Ah the old debate- do you call the rules the same at 10 seconds into an exhibition game as 10 seconds in an elimination game...

It was a violation, but I agree with those asking "why didn't they check the clock on that last inbounds?" With all the times they stop to get the clock right at 1 min ..
Well, kinda/sorta ... except for the fact that you wouldn't even see that call in a meaningless exhibition.

Armon Bassett at Ohio U. scored 32 against Georgetown. He was cut by Tom Crean after he came to Indiana

The 'other' starting guard at Xavier, Terrell Holloway, verbally committed to Indiana before Sampson was fired.

Ben Allen at St. Mary's played two years at Indiana.

Devin Ebanks at West Virginia committed to Indiana but ended up at West Virginia

Collateral damage from Kelvin Sampson include Scottie Reynolds (Villanova) and Damion James (Texas). Both committed to Oklahoma but were released from their obligation after Sampson took the Indiana job.

Add that to Todd Leary, Indiana announcer and former Hoosier player. He's been charged with a $2.7 million fraud scheme. He Assembly Hall in handcuffs just minutes before the Purdue game

Doesnt the guard at Cornell have ties to Indiana? Or was it just that his dad played there?

Wow. What a weekend of basketball. Ive been filling out brackets for 18 years and this is certainly the most interesting. My team to win gets knocked out in the second round but because so many others picked Kansas also and because my remaining FF and entire EE (aside from Kansas) are still alive and because I nailed a ton of upsets, Im still alive. I never thought it would be possible to win with your winner being knocked out this early and am still counting out anyone who took Kansas in pools with 25+ people, but def. will be fun to watch.

Thank goodness for Cornell. I gave them a ton of action any and everyway possible v. Wisconsin and they came through with a huge win.

I wonder if they somehow pulled it off would anyone complain that they had a superclass (8 Srs.)?

Any of these lower seeded teams have a shot at making it past this round? If Cornell wasnt playing KY Id think they'd have the best shot but the matchups being what they are maybe N. Iowa?

Wittman of Cornell's dad played at Ohio State, not Indiana, IIRC.

Looking at the matchups, I would say St. Mary's has the best chance. If their big man keeps playing like he has the first 2 games, Baylor is going to have no answers.

I think Baylor is overseeded too anyways so Im sure that helps me decision making.

Cornell has a real shot to beat Kentucky, they won't be the favorites nor should they be but if they are on you can't count them out against anyone.

I think that UNI might even be the favorites against MSU, I don't expect UNI to win but without Lucas, MSU will struggle.

You obviously recall wrong! He was a title playing for Bob Knight, and I think a Big 10 POTY one year, at Indiana!

If Cornell can keep Kentucky infront of them in transition, much like UNI did against Kansas, they will have a real legit shot against Kentucky.
