If 3 of your 5 picks are not chosen by anyone else they are yours and you only will be picking 2 for replacements from those that either have not been picked or are not blacklisted.

In the NEXT round someone takes one of the 3 not chosen in round 1, then HE is gone & your down to 2 that were yours...

Then in the NEXT rounds someone takes another one of the 3 not chosen & then another, THEY are gone & NONE of your original 5 are ... You are starting from scratch, sooner or later there will be nothing but scrubs ...

This could go on & on & ON & we will NEVER be done?

It is easy, really.... We pick and repick whatever number we still need.....AND as long as no one else picks in the same round the one(s) we pick, that pick or picks are ours and no one else can thereafter pick them!

My guess is it will not go beyond 5 rounds and probably not 4. The worst part is waiting for people to get their picks in.

Whatever, lets just see how it goes... Are we still waiting on some owners to sent in their 5? Or are we waiting for the lists to be sent out? We have been full for a day or 2?

I've talked to Niko about this and can confirm that pineriders is correct. Whoever you do not get duplicated in the first round you have. There will be a blacklist for the second round listing who is already taken and who is not availible due to duplicates in the first round. If there are new duplicates in the second round there will be a third round and so on. I doubt it will go more than 3 rounds.

Nikospade posted on the 6th that people should get their lists in by friday, so I wouldn't expect to get anything until then at least. This is a pretty challenging draft so I'm glad he gave the last entrees a week. I needed that long after I signed up.

Sorry I'm moving across the country currently. I think there is some confusion how the league works. Once, all teams get there 5 pitchers in the first round will ensue. I will post all the picks and show who duplicated pitchers and what pitchers you now own and how many more picks you need. So if you pick Silver King(who can't be used just an example because 1900-2009 can only be used) in the first round and no one else picks him he is yours we don't wait until the 2nd to again see if someone picks that person. so basically there will be 2 lists. There is no draft order once again we will send picks via site-mail and i will compile a list.

blacklisted pitchers who are exempt from this league.

then after the 2nd round a new list of owners pitchers they got and then more blacklisted pitchers.

I think that is pretty lame. I was asking if a spot was still open. If that isn't saying you're in then I think you are splitting Clintonian hairs. I guess no one else in this league is willing to say anything either. Very disappointing!

nikospade, I'm looking forward to the challenge of this league, but... bev148 has a point, though the observation just made seems inappropriate. bev148 might very well have been considered /asked if intent was to join before being excluded.

Looking forward to seeing results of listing of pitchers! I'm sure you had to do quite a bit of work to gather our listings into one, so thanks much.
