I'll go on record here and say that I too will cease supporting HBD if this insanity holds up.

Why they would want to basically de-privatize private worlds, is beyond me. A commish (acting with the consent of the majority of the other owners) MUST have the power to remove unwanted owners at his discretion. I can somewhat understand the reluctance to allow it to happen freely mid-season, seeing as how the potentially-removed owner has already paid them for 3 months of entertainment, but to not allow replacement at rollover-time is preposterous and simply unacceptable.

Wow, that was utterly incomprehensible--except for the defecating part. You communicated that really well.
i forgot my audience, my apologies...we (customers) pay WIS for their services, they, in turn, "**** on us"...you (sermonauthor) claim this is similar to how "our current presidential administration" (Obama) treats our allies, which i interpreted to be an allusion to how "our current presidential administration" treats Israel (you believe we've shat on them)...the key difference is that we (our current administration as well as previous administrations) supply Israel with tremendous fiscal support (money) and therefore your analogy is akin to us (customers) shitting on WIS, which is the exact opposite of what is happening here...apologies for hijacking this thread, but i couldn't let sermonauthor's idiotic comment stand...continue with the WIS bashing as they undoubtedly deserve it

Well the idea behind it is sunken costs, a dynasty game is something where the experience changes as you play the game each season. This makes the team take on value to the owner.

What should happen, is that private worlds should have a disclaimer to read, click, and accept that explains that if you violate a world's unique rules you may not be allowed to renew for the next season. The "world rules" should be expressly stated at in the disclaimer, and can be changed and reaffirmed after every season by the world commissioner.

As a commish, I'm totally on board with everyone else in this thread. I will not spend another dime on this site until this injustice is ceased. TK getting the ax was the worst thing to ever happen to this site. It's been downhill ever since and it's near unbearable at this point. Damn you WIS for ruining such a great game.

It appears you've just awoken from a coma, so let me be the first to welcome you to 2010: Welcome! It sounds like you'll be relieved to hear that Bush is no longer in office to blatantly defying our allies and invade countries without the backing of the U.N., or pull out of big treaties like the Kyoto protocol or the anti-ballistics missile treaty with Russia. Boy, did those moves ever **** off our allies! The new president has even made moves towards shutting down Guantanamo Bay, another Bush move that drove divisions between us and our European allies. If there's anything else I can catch you up on please let me know. Thanks, and again, welcome to 2010!

PS - The Red Sox finally won... twice!

Now will someone please redline us all, or at least the dipshit evangelical nutjob who wasn't trying to "get political"?

the problem is tanking is not black and white like admin claims...there are plenty of ways to tank that arent listed...how about an owner who doesnt sign enough quality players...or doesnt take care of their minor league teams...etc...im sure we could go on and on...but if these are the only three reasons i am stunned...

but more importantly...i cant understand why they would strip the commissioners of their ability to "commish"...now a commish can't look out for their league/owners...i understand that wis is a business and they want/need money to be profitable...but this decision could have horrific consequences...very near-sighted by admin...there must be a better way...i hope if we make enough noise they will reconsider...too many of us take this "game" too serious to have it ruined by a few #&ck*$) retards...

He is right back at it, doing everything imaginable to try to lose and yet CS won't do a thing - except lower the standards
ultimately...the sad thing is that there are morons out there who think it is okay to destroy leagues...and don't give me the "they pay their money" excuse (which is what admin wants)...what normal grown adult acts like these people...

sorry about the back to back to back posts...but the more i read down the chat list the more ****** off i become...admin is trying to run a business by keeping the money from these tankers...but by keeping the "one" tanker they are losing up to "8" legit owners and their money...not good business sense wis...how can they not see this...why can't we just give all the tankers their own league and let them but #u*& each other day in and day out...i love this game but this is getting dangerously ridiculous...
