have you even went to baseball reference and seen who will be there in round 20?  There are some pretty good players to be taken there. Not everyone can have ruth however the top 40 are all very good players, in round 20 you can have some very good offense with tulo, longoria, etc please check it out and see.

As a matter of fact I did look at the rounds. Of course, it loks good to you. You get to pick in the top 8 picks for the first 8 rounds, you are in a ripe position to get among the best players at each STARTING postition. How many players from round 18 and up will actually be in your starting line-up? I get the best picks for the players who will probably be my long relievers and bench players...GET IT?! If my spot is so good, I will gladly take your spot in this round and for the next 7. Want to trade? Didn't think so...

Am convinced that the top half of the draft has an advantage. (Hence I suggested the random groups of 40)
He seemed to disagree with my premise, so I was addressing his comments to me.
I never said I was bailing, just expressing my opinion. If doing so is unacceptable please let me know.

IT'S ALL GOOD BRO, we've always got along fine and you're a great Live asset.

Like I mentioned before, I like your idea of the first pick of any given round being able to select the group and player from that group and then rotating round by round, in fact I would have even prefered this.  Lets leave things the way they are for this version and in season 2 that would be a great addition to the format.  Although, I would assume that if a person had the first overall pick in the draft (bastan) and could select any player from any group, im willing to bet that the "irst round" will almost always be "first"

G, i think you are doin a great job. i think we now have a great group of players and the minimum will be made by everyone with ease, already looking forward for the start of the season

u have a point if this was an open draft league. but it is WAR which does not necessarily mean they are the best players in the game. I will gladly switch spots with yopu if you desire...there is also a 120 million salary cap so how can any team be so much better than another....just trying to make a point not beating you up but u gotta understand this is not your typical draft, and everyone should be able to select a 1st rounder. Just let me know if you wanna switch, i got np doing so. I selected Ted Williams and to be honest he was gonna be one of my pinch hitters so my 1st round pick isnt even a starting player

i would've stayed had i known when i went to bed last night how the draft was going to go......what i meant was picking 13th in a snake draft with groups from which to chooseyou are at a serious disadvantage.
