I agree with swampy when he's right.  Which isn't often.

But I have no problem tossing lazy ***** out on the street.

I'd love to see drug tests for anyone who benefits from a social program.  The money saved would fix the national debt in a couple of years.
Why not for anyone who benefits from the government in any way at all? Infrastructure? Recognition of property rights?

You mean taxpayers?
6/16/2011 9:54 PM
I mean exactly who I said. Everyone.
6/16/2011 11:16 PM
you want everyone in the country to take a drug test? What about those with prescriptions?
6/16/2011 11:24 PM
No, I don't want anyone taking drug tests. That was Mike's idea.

The general population doesnt need to be competent.

I want people that seek aid to be able to work.

If you are a drug addict seek help, dont make me pay for you.

Am I supposed to choose between your three non-sequiturs? Sigh.

The general population doesnt need to be competent. Another WTFPOTY candidate.

I want people that seek aid to be able to work. Yes, and...?

If you are a drug addict seek help, dont make me pay for you. Are you assuming that anyone who uses drugs is an addict?

I think anyone that knows they are going to apply for aid and cannot stay off the drugs long enough to pass a drug test might be addicted.

I have no problem with everyone taking drug tests.   EVERYFUCKINGONE.

I think that has less chance of happening than those seeking "assistance" taking drug tests but I'm down with it.    If you take illegal drugs, you can't have a driver's license or use public transportation.   Works for me.   Not sure what sort of "restrictions" can be made for those who don't care to drive, use public transportation or accept money from the government.   Maybe they won't be allowed to yell "America, hell yeah!!!" in a crowded store?

I don't see why anyone would object to passing a **** test for illegal drugs if you want a check from the government.  But, then again, I'm not some dope-smoking, bleeding heart liberal, man.

And the other solution would be to legalize drugs and then we could save America from the other end.

Who said they wanted drug addicted to get money from the gov't. I can always count on you people always going to the most extreme situation even when nobody is in favor of it. You are always good for a laugh!

Right - legalize more drugs for more people to gain access to them.

We cannot even keep people from drinking too much alcohol and then operating a car.

But it would be ok if we introduced a whole new variety of mind altering substances for people to use before they drive around?

Start out by decriminalizing marijuana, so we can stop overflowing the prison and judicial system.

As for alcohol, as the gov't did with tobacco, do to alcohol - no advertising.  Force the major sports leagues and sports/entertainment to stop allowing beer companies to sponsor them or else take away their anti-trust exemptions.
