Maybe if you say it at the podium.  If it gets overheard by some writer for the NY Post or w/e, I doubt much action can be taken.

I'd guess nearly every coach in the league says stuff like that to his players....it's only BB that people rush to try to 'expose'

I imagine Rex Ryan says stuff like that every 20 minutes or so.  But God forbid someone else have the opportunity to say 'They're picking on our coach!!!!"

Rex Ryan may say things like that every 20 min.....  but he is smart enough to not let it get out in the media.    But if there were a report in the media that he said it....  I am sure the Jets management would have a LONG talk with Mr. Ryan.

Doubt there'd be any negative backlash.

Rexy saying stuff like that is the reason why Jets fans love him.

couldn't get a 4th quarter 1st down when they were up big....the Pats of old would have put the Colts in the ground

and, as another side note, since they currently sit as the #1 seed in the AFC, I'd have to say it could be worse....

You're very womanly.    And I'm not talking about being incapable of changing a tire.   In what can only be described as a weak AFC, your team is likely to get a bye.  One win and you're in the AFC Championship game.   And since NE will be facing one of the seriously inconsistent teams in that game, there's a good chance of a Super Bowl berth.   It's almost like someone giving you a Lexus and you complaining that the color red doesn't match your shoes.
