Thanks tjefferson. In the past my teams have been Billy Beane like - good regular seasons, but my stuff doesn't work in the playoffs. It was fun to see that turn around!

rbow and myself had an impressive 6 teams with 0 WS wins..I wonder whats the highest placed finish with 0 WS wins after round 2..

bheid408 has declined to participate in Round 2.  Since Relkcirts also won his World Series this afternoon, he passed me to move into 25th place.  I have asked him if he wants the spot.

Relkcirts has decided to pass on Round 2... I tried to talk him into playing but to no avail.  I guess that puts me in.  I feel dirty.

c'mon - if anyone should be in the next round its you.  In fact, I think you should have auto exemption - kinda like automatically getting to play Saturday at the Masters.  Another great tourny schwarze.  Good luck in round 2!

agreed with dipped..you've done a great job schwarze..I'm really surprised at how well I have done thus far..but round 2 will be much more competitive and I will be amazed if I end up in the top 5..

I agree with all of that. Just coming up with such interesting and competitive themes is incredible work; making them all run smoothly is a miracle.

Like besterateam, I'm surprised how well I did at round 1. I thought I would have been middle of the pack, like I was in the franchises tournament. I suspect round two will see some serious regression to the mean.
