He really did a great job through 4 rounds!  Some perfect fits available last round, too.  Oh well.

Elgin is just not a 52 mil player.

As for your squad evil, you have a lot of great forwards...maybe too many!   Will be interesting to see which guards and centers you take.

Ah Rondo.  Nice.  Defense and rebounds is always a good way to go.

OK scud, what's the verdict on my Famous Five?
since everyone has at least four players, many of us with 5... i'll do your eval, jweb, when i get some time. thursday is just the busiest day of the week for me. as soon as the dust setlles, i'll write some quick evals, then let tarheel do all the heavy lifting with the final evals. hao de? (ok?). but at first glance, interesting team.

Well, my team is done (at least in terms of drafted players). I'm excited about the potential, but worried about a couple weaknesses - mainly rebounding and perimeter defense. But I'm excited about the offensive potential - this team COULD be pretty amazing offensively, if it all fits together right. Not sure if Thompson has been used much in the league before, but I think he should be a stud. We'll see.

This was a terrible draft for me. I was hoping to make a strong defensive team but ended up backed into too many corners and saw too many guys get away from me. I'm out of the playoffs this year for sure.

Good offense but bad defense off of the bench. Waiting until round 6 to draft my starting SF may be a killer but there was nobody there in round 5 that I liked very much at SF. Pippen isn't really the answer as a #1 scorer in this league and Artis is more like a #3 scorer so there may not be enough points. But I like the overall potential and team balance. I'm predicting a playoff run. But you never know in this league what will happen. If the team can just beat out ashes team again I'll be happy!

Backups to be determined; don't expect any earth shattering picks.

My team last season sucked at backcourt D; shouldn't be a problem this year.  Backcourt has good steal %, PF & C are good at block %.  Ray and Lanier have higher foul numbers than I would ideally want.  Aggregate 1.96 A/TO for the starters.  Looking for 3-point gunners or big-time boarders to round out the lineup.  This team should be better than the 28-54 egg I laid last year, but I think 46 wins will be a stretch.  Playoffs, sixth seed.

C - Bullwinkle - tier 5 usage, 44.8% crb 19.1% ast, 62 def

pf - Mailman - tier 1 usage, 55% efg, 11.1% tov%, 31.7% crb, 15.6% ast, 90 def

sf - Edge - tier 4 usage, 50% efg, 33.2% crb, 85 def

sg - Thunder - tier 5 usage, 54.1% efg (167 3pm), 9.9% tov%, 12.6% crb (4.1% orb), 11% ast, 80 def

pg - Mr. Big Shot - tier 3 usage, 52.6% efg (137 3pm), 13% tov%, 28.2% ast, 70 def

Gatling comes in to fill all of Mailman's bench time with another tier 2 usage guy, 53% efg, 32.6% crb
Barry fills in nicely for both Majerle & Billups with 60.1% efg (119 3pm), 12.8% crb, 19% ast%

finding backups for edge & bullwinkle is easy.  There are literally tons of guys that can fill either spot.  I'm going to have full minutes at $1.5M left, so that kind of sucks, but hey.

Ash I really love the overall defense of this team. However is it really going to be that easy to find 20 quality minutes to backup Boewinkle and 24-25 quality backup minutes to back up edge? You can't take any players to fill out your roster that have over 4 million in salary. There's still 34 more players yet to be drafted too. But, there's still no doubt that this team is a contender.
