If a player/prospect is still appreciably progressing, there is no way it is tanking to hold him back in the minors. Age isn't a real factor because players peak at all different ages. For example, a 23 year old IFA that is OVR 74 (projected OVR 77) and his updates have slowed way down is no longer appreciably progressing and should be called up.
The player in this case still had three big years of progression ahead of him, so no owner would be obligated to call him to the Majors, regardless of the talent there. If there was a MWR, I may have had to to meet it, but there was not. With a player still in big progression years, it is up to the owner whether or not he wants to call him up, or send him down, he can do what he pleases with said player. The fact that I called him up for a half a year only to put him back in AAA the following year is not tanking and no rational owner would say it is.
While I cannot control what anyone here thinks, I think anyone who called the situation in question tanking is wrong, no tanking was involved. Some board Trolls such as Tec like to use this forum as a stage to make himself feel important and that is fine, he can have his opinion.
Blah blah blah.
