Agreed. I'm excited to put these two players together that I have in mind.

I talked to cjok about trading his 4th so that I could have the 4th and 9th 1st round picks....then I thought, no way, that would be asking too much.  No way anyone could ever get TWO of the first ten picks in one of these drafts.  LOL, guess I was wrong.

No. There is a glut of 6-7mil guys and just a handful of 9+mil guys. Those 6-7 mil guys will look very tempting until the salary cap becomes an issue because he spent an extra 4 or 5 mil on those two guys.

You must look at different guys than I do in the first round then.  Most first round picks are 9+ million in my mind.  Shoot, I'm most likely drafting two 9+ million guys with 9 and 19.  I'll deal with salary issues later with a crappy lower bench like I usually do lol.  Of course, that's why I'm sure you guys all have more championships than I do hehe.

Circle talk. Drafting two 9 or 10 mil guys in the first round, then taking three 6-7 mil guys and only leaving 6-8 mil to fill 5000-6000 minutes is a sure-fire way to wind up in the lottery next season. Having two huge salary guys limits what you can do in the rest of the draft. Obviously, it's fun to draft those studs and try to make it work, but it's difficult. In the dh52, it's not an issue.

Second that. my teams of great starters, weak bench have all been disasters.

Hoping two 2nd, two 3rd, high 6th round picks will let me manage my money wisely.

So when do we replace iccoachb?

I think we could wait until tonight, then if we don't hear from him, make the obvious pick for him, at least punts a decision to the end of round 2.
