There are probably a few people out there worse off than me, but my record in 1-run games is going to keep me from making round 2,   Just getting average luck puts me in 11th place instead of 34th place, which is where I'm at currently.  It would be nice someday to know what it's like to be on the "lucky" side of this equation.

At least there's a better chance it will even out over 972 games opposed to the normal 162.

That's my hope.  Then of course, I would think that out of six teams, at least one or two would be on the lucky side.  But I have three extremely unlucky teams (based on actual vs. expected winning%), one mildly unlucky, and the other two are relatively luck-neutral.

It seems there are some teams for which WIS is just determined to try to burn out pitching with fatigue... no other choice but to burn out mop-up(s) some more...

I'm not sure what the future will bring but after a disastrous first season and an awfully slow start this season, the mediocrity of .500 ball feels pretty good. It's all relative I suppose.

Well it took a lot longer than I thought but we've finally fell under .500 for the first time the entire tournament and are headed south quickly.

After 60 games, I have 3 teams in first, 1 in 2nd, 3rd, and 4th.  Some odd division races, though.
1st place   .600  Solid, but tired, team.  Gonna fall some due to fatigue
1st place   .567  Just the right number of PA and IP
1st place   .500  This is NOT a good team, but got placed in the right division
2nd place  .483  Just 2 games out.  No clue if this team can kick it in gear . . . probably not
3rd place    .Schupp has killed me in relief.  No chance for this team to bounce back . . . 9 out
4th place    Just 4 games out at .383 . . . another lucky placement.  Messed up on two of my reliever settings . . . I'm blaming the bad start on that.  Right.

I was close 5 with actual winning %  over expected% and 1 close but just under the expected,,so does not look real good for 2nd half of season,,just hope to hang on.
