Doc I am over 70, and till a week ago I was a Republican. I would never say all Republicans, or all Democrats, are anything. I also have never voted a straight party line. Please don’t use the President’s demeaning nicknames in referring to his opponents. I switch parties so I can be one vote in a critical state on who will run against him, and also because of local issues in our township. I think we are all entitled to support who we believe is best without irrational attacks on our character.

Let’s get back to playing ball.

And, not all Repugs are racist. You are quite correct. BUT Trump most certainly is. He has a LONG history of racist ACTIONS, and statements.
The Repugs. have become complicit in, and defenders of Racist rhetoric and "policies" designed to lessen minority influence in our elections.
They are doing it this very minute in states like Texas (where they are trying hard NOT to count everybody in the census!!) and here in AZ with our Repugnant legislature trying to pass voting laws that will restrict the Hispanic vote.

The Repugs. MAY NOT be racist as individuals BUT the PARTY is quickly making a name for themselves as the Party of OLD, ANGRY White, Racists and their pals. I, too, am a former Republican voter! I voted for Reagan, I voted for Nixon (once!!), I even voted for Ron Paul once upon a time (as a Libertarian cand.) BUT, I now have changed my voter preference to dem. (from Ind.) and will NEVER vote for another Republican until SOMEONE with an R next to their name finally starts exhibiting some courage and leadership and begins to call a spade a spade instead of trying to apologize and defend the completely indefensible!!

I'm NO fan of Bloomberg, by ANY stretch, and I will openly declare as loudly as I can that I will NOT cast a vote for Biden (every bit as dishonest as is Trump), nor can I vote for Klobuchar, or Warren, though it appears I don't have to worry about that one.
I try and assess things fairly. And I have NO party bias.
But ANYONE claiming that Trump as POTUS is anything BUT a freakin' National disaster has been drinking far too much Kool-Aid and needs to do some study into the Trump History. As I can easily see what a schmuck Joe Biden is (ONE of the biggest errors Obama made IMO!) I can also see with the same unbiased eyes what an abysmal lying POS THIS POTUS is!!

Any view trying to normalize this P.O.S. is an attempt at self delusional brain washing.
Real leaders like Lincoln, etc (a GOOD Republican, no?) are absolutely spinning in their coffins like a child's top!

I'll agree IF all the Dems was as She WAS, and as She claims of her Kintting buddies, I'd hate them too!!

But, just as all Repubs. aren't racist, neither are all Dems. as left-wing crazy as bat-**** doofussess that some make them out to be.
IF you attended a Dem. meeting in rural AZ, you'd meet EXACTLY the same kinds of folks that the writer of your linked story met at the Trump rally.
Regular old uninformed Americans, grouping themselves based on tradition and manipulation, RATHER than actually studying, and reading, and learning about what the REAL issues we face are, just like it's always been.

Our Nation IS in peril, NOT from some POTUS like Trump, but by our OWN ignorance, and lack of stewardship of our individual freedoms, and most of all the childlike naivete with which we go about believing in politicians who are really nothing more than charlatans out to steal our future and enpower the State.
Those charlatans come from both sides, they're goal is to keep us on that good ol medicated goo, and OUT of the business of determining freedom's best course. They do that by lying.
It can NEVER work trying to claim that OUR liar is a lesser evil.
Making a pact with evil because He's OUR evil will still result in the same conclusion. Downfall!

Got me. BUT, I don't abide the idea that ONLY millionaires and billionaires (even Fake ones!!) have leadership ability and the courage to guide us forward.
At least Bllomberg is using his own money, not lying like Trump did when He claimed he'd self finance. And then started raising big bucks from filthy rich CEO's and millionaire right wing buddies.

I don't ever recall a POTUS beginning to raise money for his re-election the DAY he took office for his 1st term.
I think it's a CLEAR indication of Trump's priorities.
THAT has always been the case.

Time will tell.
The history books will end up recording his legacy, for better or worse.
I, for one, HOPE that History reveals my mistaken judgment of his abilities and stewardship.

It would be awesome IF I was wrong about the results of his Presidency.
