Did not see that coming. Had toyed with using the '88 Seward. My guess is at least one owner is tearing up their pitching staff right now.

You might be right but I’d tend to doubt it. Seward is a tough sell at 100M normally, let alone in this league

I figured you had your whole plan laid out. I've been tinkering with pitching staffs. Did actually start with Seward to see how it would work. Guess that's not going to happen regardless now. I feel pretty confident the rest of my current version won't get taken, though.

Comparable, yes. Good value, up for debate

Seward's walk ratios are tough in SLB, for maybe anything this level or above. Opponents' homers are nothing to write home about, either, compared to some of these other guys who bring their soft old baseballs to the mound.

I'm playing Seward 1887 in a nearly finished OL right now, because no OL record has been made of him. He's doing just OK with a stellar defense.

I used Seward in a 100m exclusive ownership league on e. He was great. Pitched a complete game every other dUbs my bullpen was always rested. Won the division title, but not the pennant. I've got him in another league now with old time fielders and he's getting shelled. Can't survive all those errors. Interacted Lady Baldwin in this league so you can bet I'll be using modern position players with A+ fielding. Do you hear that, Jhonny Peralta?
