What about Rick Reuschel, P. He was on another team in 1981 but is also listed on the Cubs.

Im glad that is the case. I couldnt figure out why no one was drafting him and I almost did....so I checked and found he was on Yankees......would have been a donkey move.....

By the way, the idea for adding another franchise player after 5 seasons I sitemailed everyone was to get us by until 1993 when MLB expands 4 more teams and gives us more players to draft from. I figured one more player from the future, but different seasons, would hopefully help those who didn't have a great choice the first time, plus with the DH, and only splitting rookies from 6 teams among 20 of us, over half of us wont even get a OK player each season, and we will not all get rookies every year on our own team, we will lose a lot of PAs and IPs, so after 5 years, as players retire, we will prolly need that help.
