Another day, another two teams within 1000 miles for ab. Here is his latest, Bluefield St. and New York Tech in Tark.
For the record, both links show New York Tech here. Unless I can't click correctly
He is indeed at Bluefield State in Tark, as well as the New York school.

I never played 2.0, but I'm against 2 teams in a world in general. Someone could have a D1 Connecticut team, and a D3 cali team. Someone could so easily scout D1 internationals with the D1 resources and with the D3 team FSS internationals (and they'd see the ratings for both teams), and no one would ever know.

I'm not accusing ab of this, but he could have easily had the guy scouted by the D3 team to L4, and then lost a couple guys and had the guy at L2 or something for the D2 team and recruited him. I just think it would be very hard to recruit two teams in the same worlds independently when close together. Like lets say you have guys at L3 for your D3 team based on the strategy you use and you have some of the same of the same guys at L4 for your D2 team. You're not gonna upgrade a guy to L4 for your D3 team you already know is all blues instead of greens. And if you're within 1000 miles of each other, its very likely you're getting some overlap. I just think it sets a bad precedent to let people have teams within 1000 miles.

I will also admit I was one of the people who have reported ab on this before when he had two teams in New York (Stevens Tech. and New York Tech) in Tark. Like cmon, thats just awful. All your recruits have overlap.
I didn’t even recruit on Stevens. Get over it.
do you scout there? why not follow the rules?

Is it allowed to be the coach of two DII teams in one world? Genuinely asking, I am still new to the game.

Technically it’s allowed as long as the teams are over 1000 miles apart.

That said, nobody should actually need to do this.

It is allowed at 1000 miles - but especially in the game as now structured regarded by many as a bad practice.

Who needs more than 10 teams?

Bluefield State and New York Tech aren't even 600 miles apart much less 1000. How is this allowed then?

It isn’t allowed. The coach doesn’t care to follow the rules.

As a new coach in this game this is super disheartening. I am already at a huge disadvantage trying to learn this game and compete with players (like ab90) who are way more experienced/have way more prestigious teams than me -- and now he's just going to openly break the rules when he's already at a massive advantage?

I don't get it.

It looks like he's no longer at Bluefield which is good.

Can't wait until I get a bit more experienced and can leave this conference. Gonna see through this FR class I had this year and move on

2 teams in 1 division is ridiculous. No one does this.

Naismith he is 1091 miles apart

Smith he is 93 miles apart.

Iba he is 974 miles apart.
