I really wanted the 1925 Reds, but I’ll settle for…

1965 Pittsburgh Pirates

This has been an agonizing decision. Usually I like to go for a strong pitching team in this round so I feel like I'll have some certainty about my staff. But I think there are more teams with a handful of useful pitchers than there are teams with several rosterable starting hitters, and I should still be able to get one in Round 4 that can round out my staff.

So I'm going for one of the deeper offensive groups instead. This team has 6 starting hitters I could see making my lineup if need be, plus a handful of cheap options as well. And they've got several solid arms I can make use of depending on where I end up needing them.

Without further ado ... let's take the 1975 Pittsburgh Pirates.

Now how can I best screw the 65 Reds.

Heads up on the owner in the 19th slot who took over for reddtrain:

Listed in classified as danny10 - sent sitemail - does not exist or misspelled

Listed here in theme league as denny10 - sent sitemail - does not exist or misspelled

I also sent to darny10, who I have been in leagues with before. Went through but not 100% sure he is actually in this league.

I checked the sitemail I got from him and it is darny10

Well we have a problem.

Darny said he joined a different league and is not available for this one.

I will put up an emergency ad in the thread.

It looks like since I spelled his name wrong, he may have thought a different person got the spot.

I did sitemail him on 3-3 and 3-5 telling him he was in the league snd he did open them so I didn't think there was a problem.

This guy is an *** clown. Always site mails me to get on waitlist (instead of posting in thread) and the one time I sitemailed him back to take an opening, he ghosted me.

That's total BS that he thinks it's someone else in the league. You put denny10. Come man.
