I don’t know what the official order for the leagues are but imo the banned league is the most difficult and should be the final league.

Is this open to discussion? I do think it would make sense to split up the full drafts. My suggestion would be:


1. $55M
2. $45M
3. $50M Franchise League (Two rounds, draft a franchise with each of your picks. Teams can only be drafted once per round. Teams that are drafted in the first round will be eligible to be drafted once in the second round.
4. $50M Banned (every player drafted in the first two leagues is banned)
5. Wild Card League! - The previous champion gets to choose any draft league they want! (For the first season, there will be a league wide vote of three different options).
6. Current season league (i.e. 2022-2023)

This splits up the longer drafts and gives everyone the maximum time to learn about the 2022-2023 seasons from experiences in other leagues.

Probably worth thinking this one through for draft order. I assumed usual snake, but if you think about that - I'm not sure that's very equitable for owners in the middle. There's an obvious benefit at the top and then there's a benefit at the bottom, because you're picking at the top in round 2. Picking 12th or 13th two straight rounds, that could be a decent disadvantage. I'd have to analyze the franchises more, but the typical thought that you're getting the middle best available does not apply because those picking before and after you BOTH get a higher preference. Would have to run some numbers to think how that could be done equitably...

Sorry, also is it franchise as in Warriors both Philly and Golden State? Or separate? Same with Charlotte/New Orleans. And is ABA individual or combined?

I also think the middle of the draft might be better than the top or bottom. I think there will be a lot of disagreements as to which franchises are actually the best and the top 10-15 picks or so each round will all have some really good teams. Whereas the bottom 5 or so will be really scraping the barrel.

One possible suggestion: You have to use 6 seasons from each franchise. I think that would increase the value of picking in the middle.

Also I'm assuming that you cannot use a cross-franchise clone? For instance if your franchises are the Heat and Cavs you can't use two Lebron seasons.

I don't know the official answer, but it makes sense to me that you'd be allowed to use a cross-franchise clone as long as they aren't both the same season. Taking the same franchise twice should probably be prohibited, though,
