Very happy with Butler/Giannis. Wasn’t sure if Butler was a reach but he was very important to my plans so I went for it.

I don't think he's a reach. That 22-23 season is awesome. His only issue is minutes; most of the seasons you want to use are in the 2000 minute range. Butler/Giannis leaves you really short on minutes heading into a late third round pick, but the minutes they have are loaded in terms of quality.

In the past I’ve gone very cookie cutter 5 high min starters and 5 to 7 backups for them. I’m trying to get a little bit more quality and just hope I can patch together 5 good teams. Worst case maybe I’ll try three great team strat for the first time.

Eye of the beholder. I have him lower, iirc he finished 2nd once going in the 1st round. He has a pretty broad range, he is someone like Rodman that is hard to fit into a slot.

I struggled a lot with this one and honestly my draft strategy is already in the toilet. I incorrectly thought at 8 or so I would get a high quality big with eFG and then get at least Kyrie or GP on the backside, maybe even Luka or Lillard. But you guys screwed me. I thought long and hard about Moses and a guy that hasn't been drafted yet. Came really close to taking Moses, but with Howard it really limits draft options later. I wouldn't be surprised if I regret later.

I used to think lower of Stockton. His boards are terrible and the TO% worse. But, he does have 5 seasons over 60% TS that is rare. Excellent steals and while the TO% is high, I don't need any assists moving forward which should allow me to draft lower TO% and keep the team numbers manageable.

Yeah - I should have seen it coming....

KG, McHale, Pippen. That's a scary start for sure. Pippen really helps make up for McHale's rebounding shortages. All are superb defenders. I'm frightened.

Also, do I see Bill Russell with Magic & Bird?

I’d never tell someone who they should draft. On an unrelated note, one of you should have paired Pippen with your big.

Some really good players dropping into the third. I debated Pippen over butler but I felt I needed someone cleaner with giannis already fouling and turning it over plenty.

Sigh. I was starting to dream that I could be gifted with Pippen. Instead rob is. I was trying to convince myself that rob didn't really like Pippen that much.

the end of the 2nd round is so discouraging for those of us with top 5 picks...we just miss out on all the early 2nd guys that fall too far(well except pippen...not sure what the other 4 behind me were thinking there) and then watch as all the players we were debating about taking as our 2nd pick get scooped up as the 3rd guys in awesome trios

one pick away from a jordan/moses start....ive seen you make some wild picks in the 2nd jethro...why couldnt you do it this time! haha

pex never would have let kemp slide as far as he did last season

Without looking, has Pippen ever won in this league? Even a single league championship? He's good but I've always thought he was drafted too high. Late 2nd/early 3rd seems right to me.

I 'ship, 4 top 6 finishes. Average finish of 15th.
