Not bad for a team without seniors or speed.  I'm disappointed we couldn't finish the job, but UCLA also got bounced (by Michigan State), and they were 33-0 and had the most talent I've ever seen in HD (average total rating, 865), so I think I'm not the most disappointed this morning.

#11 C, #39 Overall, *****; no promises.  The only player we had any kind of battle for, we beat St. John's in a minor border spat for the services of Richard Latch.  He was my favorite center this year, but his stamina will limit him in terms of PT to some degree.  Otherwise he's rock solid in his position skills.

Our sole defection (including, sadly, Walter Murphy, who I wanted to leave if we were going to be losing anyone else), Richard Latch was a starter and a solid contributor but really nothing amazing, and in the long run he shouldn't be too hard to replace.  I don't see him getting taken in the first round, but I could be wrong.

So, we signed a nice developmental prospect, the 16th ranked power forward ranked 55th overall. He needs work on his rebounding and he'll never be a great scorer, but I am posting this while using my phone because my power is out due to Hurricane Irene so a post with this guys ratings will just have to wait.
