I think playing time is the most important thing. Short answer: I'd use them in a manner that would ensure them most playing time whether it be in the bigs or in the AAA playoffs.

Your quesiton would have required me to research "New Guys". That wasn't happening. But, since you did, had "this dude" played anywhere but 2B, where he had 15 negative plays and 12 errors, he probably would have been in the running. He was miserable in the field despite being a better or comparable hitter to the first two guys you listed.
