Jesus. I might have been a little harsh, but I was trying to speak sense to you. I was trying to help end this annoying cycle. You automatically went to attack. It was not a rhetorical argument I brought up. Your wording, "I'd like to share more insights of this nature, but it usually falls on me to do so," does make little sense. The first part says you would like to share. But, after that comma you lament the fact that you would have to share.
As far as common sense, they are entwined. We base most of our common sense off of conventional wisdom. "Conventional wisdom says most people don't like being attacked, so common sense dictates that if I attack any and all I will probably face negative feedback."
I don't know why you believe you have more "ammo" than me, we don't know each other. Besides that, I wasn't attacking you, I was trying to get you to better think out your posts. But you seem to be into playing the victim and then lashing out, digging for any reason to talk negative. Some people have posted various levels of support for you, but you attack even them. So far I've seen immaturity, victim-mentality, aggression, impulsivity, delusion, and now blind sense of superiority and narcissism. However, unlike what you've shown, I realize that everyone here is more than just the posts they make. So, I tried to speak to your reasoning. I assume I'll just have to wait for the next inevitable lashing out by you.
I'd like to end this cycle too.
If we base common sense off of conventional wisdom, that does not mean that they are always the same or interchangeable. In any case, the terms do not mean the same thing, as I have shown.
I.......that's a lot of names and characterizations. You're entitled to them, you really are. You criticized a statement I made. I explained to you what I meant. It doesn't seem that we'll be able to see eye to eye on this. I don't know why you decided to address that statement from me, but I have explained to you what I meant, and I cannot do so in another way.
Post hoc ergo propter hoc - after, therefore because of which. That which follows another is not necessarily caused by the other. Common sense may follow conventional wisdom, but it is not necessarily caused by it.
