well, we got white to sign a one year deal.  good news there, except now we're about three million over the cap.  gotta dump regher is my bet.  i'd say jokinen or stajan, but i doubt anyone would take them.  :>

Heard a rumor Flames are after another has been in Marc Savard... dont know how we can do it with the cap issue... Maybe Boston takes Regehr and Kotalik...  not a Savard fan so could really care less if the rumor is true.  Dimunitive player who takes stupid, selfish penalties, dispite his passing ability.

Dont know why we resigned Conroy.  Except it is at least for league min and a 2 way contract.  Plays his 7 games and then retires.

yeah, wasn't worth signing conroy.  he's definitely past his prime now.  he didn't play all that great last season to begin with.  maybe jarome asked them too.  he likes playing with conroy.  personally i'd rather see a rookie called up. 

as for savard, there's been rumours for months, starting before we signed a bunch of guys.  now we're already three million over the cap and will likely have to dish off regher for next to nothing just to get under it.  can't see savard coming over.  though i personally like him as a player.  he could really help out passing to iggy.  :>

 Thats ok ,Nickhead ill win that  in week 1 of the NFL..Im up at 1 :00 am just stoked about the NFL cant wait to hit my local pub at 9:00 am ..does it get any better?  sports is  better than p*ssy...or am i just drunk?  maybe its a draw?

Perfect preseason... guess that means we are going to win the cup... ha.. yeah right... rumors that we may pick up Vancouver's scraps and sign Morrisson due to our injuries... Sure hope not

Of course you wouldn't.  Why would you want somebody on your team to shore up your weakest position?  It's just crazy to think you would want a guy who could push Tanguay to be your #1 Center.

i actually like morrison.  at least when he used to play for van he was decent.  lots of speed.  good team player.  maybe he's getting a little old, but sutter is so damn afraid of actually playing a rookie, morrison would be better than signing another goon.   :>

then there's the fact that we are still over the cap (without morrison), and the season starts in two days.  is there something i'm missing, nick, because i didn't think we were allowed to do that.  :>
