What did she say?
That if people don't like Jerry Jones prohibiting his players from protesting, they should boycott the NFL.

I believe it was an appeal to specifically boycott the NFL's advertisers... And then she put out a tweet naming the companies that should be boycotted.

Many of those same advertisers also sponsor ESPN, which is her own employer. What a dumbass. She should be fired for sheer stupidity.

I personally believe Jemele Hill wants to get fired. She'd get a nice big severance, and a spot on The View.

Worst case, she gets her name back in the news after we'd almost forgotten about her last stupid comment.

Jamele Hill suspension proves you only have freedom of speech if you are unemployed. Corporate fascism is alive and well in the good old USA
Corporate fascism? lol Or as we used to call it: employment.

How about if you go to Taco Bell, and the employees are protesting environmental exploitation and refuse to wash with soap or wear latex gloves over their hands? Are you ok with hepatitis, or should the manager dole out a little "corporate fascism"?

Good God.
There is a difference between your example and what happened with Jamele. Her comments were 100% harmless.
It's funny how the Left plays the "nobody got hurt" card. Pretty sure the 10 Commandments on the state lawn didn't jump out and slap anyone. Pretty sure that statue of Robert E. Lee on horseback didn't trample anyone.

Sometimes offensive things are ok and sometimes they're not, I suppose. Maybe we could all just look the other way and stop complaining, but I bet folks on the Left will say "no thanks" to that deal.
... Except be a symbol of racism. Waving a confederate flag and admiring confederate statues is saying, "I liked it better when we had slavery!"

I'm about to get blown up by the left for this, but once they do a little homework they will realize that I am right. Robert E. Lee wasn't racist.

Whether or not Lee was personally racist is irrelevant. He's a symbol of a war fought to protect slavery.

The war was a bit deeper than that, but since I could care less whether his statues are removed or not, I won't get into that. It just bugs me when the schools don't teach history correctly. When I was teaching at a middle school, a 6th grade history teacher kept calling our government a democracy. I know I'm being petty, but it was quite annoying.

Our schools don't teach squat about our treatment of the Native Americans.
10/9/2017 10:14 PM
True. It's a shame.
