Would you re-sign this player (Ronnie Eaton) who wants 4yr/6.875per prior to the end of the season or potential lose him as a FA?

He's not a SS now but he's still a solid 3B(and will be for another 4 seasons).   So, really, it depends on your other options.   If you've got a good 3B in the system, who'll be ready in a couple of seasons, you can probably find a short-term solution for less and get a couple of comp picks.   If you don't, bring him back as I think he's worth the money.

If I were you, I'd want a SS, better hitting and another SP.

No, I can do as much research as I want and respond.    I just checked Arfy's BL team.   I don't go position specific but I'll sort range for fieding(Arfy's SS has 81 glove assuming that's his SS), power/contact/VR for hitting(he's lacking) and stamina/VR for pitching(he has three SP over 70 VR).   Took about 45 seconds.  Or less time than it took to type this.

Should the Brewers sell? Or should they expect that a 2011 Cards-like comeback is just waiting there for some NL team this year and it might as well be them?
