I am just happy to see JVR in a Flyers jersey this year and not a UNH jersey any more.
As someone who has seen him play several times in the past few years, he's got the skill to be a tremendous NHL player. However, there were many times where he was lazy, coasting at times on the ice. Maybe it's because he thought he was the best player on the ice (in college hockey), maybe it's work ethic. Either way, if he does that in the NHL, he'll find himself either plastered against the boards or on the bench (if he doesn't get sent down to the AHL).
Not knocking the kid, just something for you Flyer fans to keep an eye on.
