Lots of pressure on the Mount.

no worries here-- this team needs to get it done in the postseason... not too concerned with 14-2 vs 16-0.
12/5/2009 10:11 AM
though FRANCE informs me there has never been a non-Catholic 16-0 team in the history of the CAC, so that's something to shoot for.
12/5/2009 10:11 AM
I don't think York and the Hood will end up with losing records, but this is about as tough as I can remember the CAC.

Thanks andrewfrance.

I hadn't even made the Strasburg connection. And tbh I wasn't too fond of the aesthetics of either name. That said, naming plays a decent part of my recruiting on the conscious level, so I can't imagine the games it plays subconsciously. I passed on a better player than Wood last cycle who was born with the unfortunate name of Jeter.

Additional props to AF's for Greer hiding in Hubbard's cupboard and the Tom Clancy love. William "the Admiral" Greer rips his nickname from the Hunt for Red October. We're excited that he might turn into a true shot blocker and is already ripping minutes from the non Hubbard seniors Humphreys and Evans.

It's an outrage the CUA class didn't make the top 32.

I've been waiting for a couple seasons to see what this seasons's Marymount team would do. It's hard to ignore the FT issues though. Is Marymount's Bonar of any relation to Matt Bonner? Similar profile and huge improvement from So to Jr year.

I'm not sure I could fend off an urge to start 4 Centers at SMM.

York's Mangano is a beast.

I try to look at Hood and never get past gawking at ATH/SPD ratings. How many of these guys play on the football team as well?

My recruits not turning out so well. I guess I need a way to get them on the court so they can actually develop. Hmph.

I signed on for another season.... Rebounding to be a substantial problem for the Gallaudet's this year.
