Since the ratings work in conjunction with one another, there is no "most important" IMO.   However, power seems to overcome a lot of shortcomings with hitters while splits does the same with pitchers.

Because we don't need a replay of Leonard 6.  Ever.

I was using Hardball Dynasty – Fantasy Baseball Sim Games - Player Profile: Matt Christensen as a tandem B but just ran into some time issues in the real world.    I've recently been using him as SuA when my LH SuA is fatigued and LRA when he's not.   So, if you have time to actively manage every cycle, Tandem B when he's 100%.  40-50 PC.

Mutual options seem to have no impact.   TO is a negative, I do believe.

A while back I asked about hitters with a ton of power and a great eye, but miserable contact and hitting splits.  You said something like "well it's possible but dont be surprised if theyre streaky or inconsistent."  What would be the lowest contact or hitting split you'd use on a ML hitter like this?   Could Hardball Dynasty – Fantasy Baseball Sim Games - Player Profile: Juan Mendez  be a major leaguer?

Any problem with having no set closer?
8/3/2012 3:03 PM
Not for me.   Best short reliever usually comes in first and the 2nd best comes in 2nd.   So that means the "closer" is sometimes the 2nd best SRP but he'd have had to pitch anyway(just earlier).   My better RP are getting more innings.

ruben amaro puts cliff lee thru waivers. dodgers claim him. amaro say's lee isn't going anywhere. what's the point of putting him thru waivers if you wont at least see what the dodgers will offer you for him? and do all teams waive all their ml players in real life mlb?

I think Amaro has to say "He's not going anywhere" even if he is negotiating a deal.   No need to ruffle feathers with Lee or the fans for a deal that doesn't happen.  It's almost like the vote of confidence owners give managers that they fire a week later.   I don't know that all teams waive all their players.   If you're not going to move a player, there's really no need to waive him.  Yanks aren't waiving Jeter.

What would you rather have on your team, a 26 year old SS with sup-optimal range but otherwise solid in the field (75/82/85/80) who hits the cover off the ball (87/90/70/62 with 80 eye), or a 22 year old SP (19 dur, 98 health 87 sta, 84 ctrl l/r 72/85, pitches 76/77/63/19 -l/r and pitches 1,2 have already reached his projected)? Team plays in a pitcher friendly park, is relatively deep at SP but has struggled offensively at times.

Would you recommend playing mushahshi's "SS" at 3B?
8/6/2012 4:21 PM
The pitcher.  The SS isn't a SS now and he'll be less of a SS in 5-6 seasons.   The pitcher will have 13-15 seasons of career left in him.

Yes, or 2B.

Better legacy with the Yankees if they win a championship this year: Ichiro or Ibanez?
8/6/2012 6:36 PM
My gut instinct is to say Ichiro simply because he'll be remembered 40 years from now but Ibanez has been a bigger contributor.

would 3 top tier outfielders help neutralize a hitters park?
8/6/2012 8:01 PM
I'm a big believer in D in LF/CF.    And, yes, they would help in any park.

How many innings should I be able to get out of  Hardball Dynasty – Fantasy Baseball Sim Games - Player Profile: Jacque Kwon and how would you tweak your settings to use the most effectively?
