You have 1 open spot on your 25 man roster. You are in the NL. You have 12 pitchers and 12 position players as of now.

Your starting 8 are set, and you have 3 position players that can play pretty much anywhere (right handed, low to mid 80's across the board) on the bench. Both of your catchers (platoon) are great hitters, but average to below average defensively. The other downside is you have no handed bats in the lineup.

Your bullpen is a little lower than you want it to be as far as stamina/durability. Otherwise your starters should all be work horses.

Who fills the 25th spot? A defensive sub catcher, another multi purpose player, a handed slugger, or an 8th man out of the pen?

If I had any doubts about my pitching stamina/durability, I'd bring in a pitcher. A couple of extra inning games and you're looking at problems with your staff.
