We return home to face San Diego.
7/25/2010 11:21 PM (edited)
Game 70: After four scoreless innings, the Conquistadors get on the board when Scott Podsednik singles home a run, and that seems to open the floodgates. San Diego scores in every innings after that, and they take the series opener from Montreal 7-2.

Jason Frasor walks two batters in the 10th, then allows a single to Moises Alou. Carl Crawford's throw home is close, but not soon enough to get the runner. San Diego goes up 8-7. And that's where it ends, as Montreal manages only a one-out single in the bottom half.

Game 75: Jeremy Bonderman throws eight shutout innings and Melvin Mora hits a home run as the Spectres shut out the Cthulu 2-0 to salvage a game out of this extremely low-scoring series.
