I have never seen a picher this upset with his catcher. Randy Wolfe looks like his head is about to explode.

Sat next to two Mets fans last night. They knew that Zaun was the Brewers regular catcher, which impressed me.

It was all I could do to stop from laughing, though, when the one guy asked me "You guys got a good bullpen?"

Sat next to two Brewer fans last year. They knew how to tie their own shoes and how to work a doorknob, which impressed me.

They tricked you. Brewers fans can't work shoelaces. Just because someone smells of cheese and sausage, they're not necessarily Brewers fans.

You gotta love how they support their players. Even though Jeff Suppan is getting light up the crowd is still behind him cheering "Suuuuuuuuuup"

At least thats what I think they are cheering.

What is Suppan doing anywhere close to a tie game?

BTW

Stomp that, frog!

Soup turns tie game into 6-2 deficit, Zach Braddock finishes the job by allowing four in the ninth. Mets rout the Crew, 10-4, to avoid a sweep.

Roster moves:

Chris Capuano's contract purchased from Nashville (he had an out clause if not called up by May 20, later delayed to May 29). Claudio Vargas was DFA'd to make room for Capuano on both the 25- and 40-man rosters.

Jim Edmonds expected back from the DL on Monday; Stern the likely candidate to return to Nashville.

Join this group if you agree that Suppan is wasting a roster spot on the Milwaukee Brewers. http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=132004490143257#!/group.php?gid=132004490143257&ref=mf

Cappy will start on Thursday, replacing Manny Parra in the rotation. Melvin was reluctant to comment when asked about Suppan. The Brewers will have several roster decisions to make in the next week or two, however. Kameron Loe, pitching well at Nashville, has an out clause in his contract for late this week, and David Riske's rehab assignment will end in about a week. After Braddock's performance Sunday it might not be a hard call to send him back but finding a second move will be difficult. Another problem is that the 40-man roster is full; Riske is not currently on the 40-man and I doubt that Loe is either.

Brewer baseball, 2010: Brewers lead 4-0 at Florida, top of sixth, bases loaded with one out. Macha lets starting pitcher Chris Narveson (who has thrown five shutout innings) bat. He lines into a double play.

Marlins then score seven (and still counting as I write this) in the bottom half of the inning.

Ima call this one. Another horrible loss.

Update: Brewers lose, 13-5. At least Suppan was used properly today.

Marco Estrada's not making much of a case to be kept on the roster either.
