I start my first World Series in a couple days and I'm trying to nail down my the last of my playoff roster. Should I be worried about carrying only two catchers?

I have this guy as my starter this guy as my backup. My concern is if one of them goes down during the series.

Would you add Billy Ray Heredia as a 3rd Catcher or Angel Delgado as a backup COF/1B/PH?

With this 25th man, I will have 14 offensive players on my roster.

The ratings should incidate Tejada having much better numbers...

If you need more than 10 pitchers in the WS, you lost. I'd carry 15/10. So you can use both.

Small sample size. I wouldn't be surprised if their numbers were the exact opposite after they get 500+ AB. Although Mullin is doing it over 455 on his career. Seems too high.

Edit: The only pitcher not currently on the roster is Hunter Smith

Hearn. I was going to say him based on ratings. Then I checked his stats to confirm. They do. And I see you have him set as a LHS. He might get an inning in the WS.

I can't see projected ratings but Cervantes is nothing special.

How important is the baserunning rating?

I think it's very underrated. I believe, in part, because WifS doesn't have it listed on the batting/fielding line when viewing rosters. Doubles and triples.

Are you aware of what the longest hitting streak is in HBD? If so what?

I do not. I've never seen one in the 40s. But, after checking my 4 active worlds, the longest is 40. Achieved before I joined.

I'm not the sort of freak who keeps his ex's stuff. It usually follows them out the door with "and take this crap with you!!!!!"
