Trying to decide who to make my 25th player. Fielding not an issue with which to be concerned.

Id look for someone better.

Cabrera to PH, fill in to rest another power hitter and maybe get you a jack here and there.

Have people here successfully run a tandem pitching staff all season? I have 8 legit starters and seriously considering running one this season.

problem is I only have 1 lefty starter so I can’t get the benefit of switching hands.

how many on staff do you need overall? I have 12 right now with one 140 inning pitcher in the pen, a 100 inning pitcher, a 75 inning pitcher and a 50 inning pitcher as closer. Is that enough?

If you're in the business of estimating innings, a season is approximately 1458 innings in length...simple addition of the numbers you indicated above suggest that your bullpen is capable of covering 365 of those. So, if you think your 8 SP candidates can cover 1093 total (which is about 136-137 each) then you should be fine.

You guys ever seen scouts been wrong on how a guy throws? I’m seeing an IFA SS listed as throwing lefty. I know you can’t play a lefty thrower at 2B-honestly can’t recall if I’ve ever seen one at SS or 3B before but would definitely limit his positional flexibility.

If it says he’s lefty, he’s lefty. Just did a draft this week and there was a CF in the pool with an awesome arm but he throws left. After being drafted the board lists him as an SS probably just off of his ratings, but throwing left, he is not an SS.

Does an ML player take a ratings hit if he's assigned to the minors after trading for him?

This is a 3 year pro, if that makes any difference.

I'm guessing that there'll be a "trade" line, meaning I should be able to assign to any level without penalty.

No shobob, you can assign them anywhere post trade

He got the "trade" update line. I decided to assign him to the ML, so the point ended up being moot.

How do people maintain like, 10 or more teams? I usually have enough difficulty with 2. I swear most the people still playing have 5 or more plus who knows how many aliases.

We don't. I'm 60 years old now, but I still think I can play with the kids. Stupid. I have 5 GD teams, 3 HBD teams, and am trying to learn HD with 2 teams. I can't keep track of them all any more. But which ones do I get rid of?? That's the hardest question.

S38 in Jersey World I got away with 10 pitchers in a tandem situation.

It seemed to make sense because I had 8 SP/LRA's, half of them lefties and half righties.

It was a fun experiment and I did it for two more seasons but it required a lot of shuffling around and very close monitoring of fatigue.
