Bob, my wife wanted 4 kids. We settled on two because of the cost. Common sense man! Common sense!

I want a Ferrari but I cannot afford it. Want and need are different things and adults should be held responsible. Tangy believes that people who can't afford kids should still have them and that the Gov't should support them. Sadly.
Obviously common sense laws. My point was that if we live in a system where some people financially cannot afford to have 2 kids, that system needs to change.
Why?
Because I firmly believe that a human right exists to have babies.
You do realize that there has never been a form of economy that has eliminated poverty, correct? I hope you realize that no matter what form of government or economic system your country has there will always be poor people.
That is not what I am talking about.
1/17/2018 11:17 AM
So, how do you propose everyone be able to afford multiple kids?

The city SD nearest me (about 5 miles) has a Board who would rather spend money on a $1 million football field, a new baseball field, and constantly sending athletic teams to other States to play games, than on books and proper heat. Why? Because that's what the majority of parents want prioritized. It's not an issue of funding, it's an issue of priorities of the residents within the district. I'd suspect this isn't the only city SD where this happens.
That's true for some schools. It is the exception to the rule.
Maybe in Kansas. If you're ever in GA, find 5 local high schools within your vicinity and check out their sports complexes. It will blow your mind. The benefit is we turn out some friggin athletes. Like all3 said, it's what the community normally wants.

The town that I grew up in has about 8500 people. They average about 5000 per HS football game.
The school I went to has the best complex in Kansas but we are super poor. Most schools don't have that. Either way my point still stands.
Like I said, come to the SE. Almost every school has multi million dollar facilities. Would you like me to start posting pics?
OK, great. School funding takes that into consideration.
You'll have to explain that a little further. That doesn't make any sense.
School funding per student has disparities no matter what. I don't understand why this is relevant.

Most of the Democrats collectively are a giant insane asylum, and the inmates are running the institution!

Abortion on demand, same sex marriage, gender confusion, euthenasia. Pitting women against men, blacks against whites, immigrants against non immigrants. Plus the scamming of media giants to conform to their ways to brainwash the people. The Dems need new leadership desperately.

Troll game 3/10.

It's relevant because it shows that schools at times prioritize money away from academia. Your argument is that schools don't have enough money. Obviously they do if they can afford to build and maintain multi million athletic facilities.

If you guys were to rank the ideologies capitalism, fascism, communism, and socialism, how would you rank them? Mine would be:
1. Socialism
2. Capitalism

I am pretty sure that academic money is separate. I would also infer that facilities are proportionate to funding.

Okay, so you realize that this is unrealistic and could only happen in a perfect world, but it is a wish of yours? If that is what you're saying, then that is more than fair.

You would infer incorrectly.

You're basing your opinion on what?
On American Schools, and my knowledge of Kansas schools
How many Kansas' city schools are you aware of where this happens? How many where it doesn't?
Please share your knowledge with those of us who are uninformed about what goes-on in Kansas' city schools.
I know how only 1 city SD works, so that's what I base my opinion on.

That Is the stadium in the town that I grewup in. It actually went up for vote whether to build a new HS building or that. Guess what the community chose.

Most of the Repugnants collectively have gone completely insane. The lunatic fringe has taken over and the GOP is completely void of leadership so they are:

"Pitting women against men, blacks against whites, immigrants against non immigrants. Plus the scamming of media giants to conform to their ways to brainwash the people"

It's the only way they know to try and maintain the power they (accidentally) fell into with the election of the Great White Whiner-in Chief.
He showed them how.......... just blame the "colored folk", the immigrants "stealing all the jobs", and those pesky Clinton's.
And no matter what, when cornered lie like crazy........ just tell 'em you never even seen that cookie jar........ and believe me I don't even eat cookies! I can tell you that!
