Great league here guys. Easy to formulate your team yet there are certainly factors to consider:
In formulating your squad, while the easy part is simply inserting the letter of the part of your name where you need a player (EX:a-r-v-i-d-j-o-s, my lead-off hitter "A" is Richie "A"shburn), finding the proper player at the spot in the order where he can be optimumly utilized is the challenge.
Factoring position and fielding is also where it can be fun and challenging. My biggest hurdle was fitting in a player with the last name that started with the letter "V" for my 3-hole meeting the criteria needed for a 3-hole hitter, while also fitting in with my fielding needs. This turned out to be my biggest hole as I selected the slick-fielding version of shortstop Arky Vaughan. While Vaughan is a fantastic option for a shortstop, he is clearly not a good choice for a 3-hole hitter. But my username dictated it to be done and thems are the breaks!
This league is close to filling and I would encourage any serious live player who enjoys creating teams involving a little(really not very complicated to create a good squad) strategy to join!
