Well, up to now every owner I sold the league on, heard about the number of wins. We should probably just stick with that given the late hour of this proposal. Although I certainly get the % idea, perhaps it is best to debate for the following draft.

Is better defined as number of wins over RL wins or percentage of wins over RL wins? In other words, if the Indians (60-102 RL) win 63 games, and the Blue Jays (99-62 RL) win 102, each would have 3 more wins than the real teams, but the Indians' record would be 5% better than RL and the Jays' only 3%. Using percentage would give the lower-salary teams a slight advantage in draft order.
Hmmm...interesting. I like that. Any other thoughts about this
I think its a good idea..

I'm cool for anything. I do think we should put a rule in place for a tiebreaker if we keep it as is.

I didn't realize there had been any clarification that it is number of wins. My post started out as a question as to what defined "better" -- # of wins of % of wins. Looking through the thread I see that discussed, so I'm fine with it as is.

After some discussions in SLL with several owners, it looks like % would be the best way to go. This will be confirmed before the season starts.

Also, would anyone like to be on the waitlist?

May need 1...looks the one of the best teams may be available, the Cardinals

i would take the cards but it would put me w/ 2 teams in the NL. If you could realign one of my teams I would take it if you need me to.

Anyone interested in the Atlanta Braves? We are heading into 1986 with a draft coming up, and looks like at least the Braves will be available. I'll post a seperate thread later, but figured I'd just bump this up for now.
