One point comparing Minnesota is that most "experts" had Illinois above Minny going into the CT. I would of much rather played a shorthanded Mich St and Purdue than Wisconsin and Ohio St. Illinois should of just won their home game against Minny or put Ohio St away when they had the chance and they wouldn't be traveling to Stony Brook...

Duke's really played well in the tournament in the last decade or so, so yeah, I'm sure Duke fans will be laughing at the world's supply of non-Duke fans over the next couple of weeks. I'd be mildly - mildly, mind you - surprised if they make it past a potential second round matchup with Louisville.

You say that every year and they blow it every year. Of all the #1 seeds they are least likely to get past the Elite 8; then the Cuse, then Kentucky, then Kansas.

Not if BYU makes it to the regionals in Salt Lake City. Then its hugely significant. That's why i gotta root for BYU to go down early.

Also, on another note, Cuse getting shipped West put them on the same play dates as the regionals in the Dome which alot of Syracuse people (myself included) have bought advance tix for and now can't/won't if the times of the games conflict, which sucks.

I love how you think you are such an expert at everything. Its terrible. You state one fact then think that means you are right. To be perfectly honest I do give a f*ck about anything you say because I find you the most annoying poster on these boards. So I think your opinion has the same worth as a piece of dog crap.

You do not know anything about Duke. It is that simple. And to act like you do is a joke. I don't act like I am an expert at teams like Illinois, however as of right now Duke is a one seed and Illinois is playing in the little dance.

So why don't you sit down and shut up.

Awwwwww poor tmac, did I hurt your feelings? Is it a touchy subject with you that Duke is treated like the NCAA's only child? Not to mention it has been a while since they made it past the Sweet 16 and have been vastly overrated all year. They couldn't even win the very mediocre ACC outright this year and that in and of itself makes them unworthy of a 1 seed.
