This is awesome! you guys in cooperstown are doing a great thing. I just hope that this groundswell opens the eyes and smartens up ADMIN. It has to!

I commish Moneyball which has rules that include forcing an owner out for tanking his minors and forcing an owner out for failure to be above .400 over a combined two year stretch. The new guidelines essentially say that WIS will not enforce these rules if some owner refuses to leave (to date, we have never had a problem with smoeone refusing to leave). I am hopeful that the other 31 owners in Moneyball have integrity enough to keep with their promises to abide by league rules, because if we run into the same situation that Coop has run into, there is no way in hell I am going to push that approve button.

True. I only play in tard leagues when I have a chance to win a championship...I only want rebuild projects in good leagues.

I wholeheartedly support, not sympathize, with what is going on. I certainly am doing what I can to help organize the commissioners of the private worlds I am in if need be to get this resolved, and I (and they as well) have sent tickets in about it.

I received a response to my ticket. It looks like Cooperstown is officially dead:

"Thanks for the note. The new guidelines will be used for situations where owners are deliberately not fielding a 'Competitive Team'. If you are asking to have an owner removed from a league, or replaced as a team owner, he'll have to be in violation of one of those stated guidelines. They are clear and easy to understand. If he is not in violation of one of those guidelines there will be not need to submit a recommendation. If the commissioner of Cooperstown feels that the owner, whose name you have not mentioned, is now in violation of those guidelines there are no restrictions on him from sending in another recommendation. Thanks again."

I let them know that 26 owners and counting have already removed their teams from Cooperstown. Not sure if they're aware of that.
