Where are we on picks in for this round.  I'm trying not to be obsessive about checking in...  it is hard, though.  Completely a reflection on how fun this league is.

It looks like almost all picks are in, but I know I am missing at least one person who is traveling overseas and told me he would not be available until Sunday.  I am sitting down now to make my own picks and have not opened picks from anyone else.  After getting shut out last round I did not want to make any more hasty decisions with my own selections.

My picks are done and sent to marlowe, pinotfan, northof49

I look at the six guys I picked and think this is gonna be a long season.

AAhhh, dont worry Spot, with the BEST players being lost, due to doubling up, pretty soon we are all going to be "Platooning" at the rest of the positions, that we cant fill - its getting to the point where platoon players are all that are left!  Every team is going to have MAJOR holes!  Pitching wise, I might have to think seriously about using a 6 SP rotation, cuz SP with only 150IP cant go every 4th or 5th game, gonna have to go to that 13-14 man pitching staff?  Players left are getting mighty THIN, maybe next time you do this you might have to think about a 40 year span, or no limit on seasons at all...?  I did a search  for a position that I desparately need to fill & didnt find a player that wasent on the GONE list until the 4th page, 220 players down!?

Oh no 40 year spans for me.  I have run this league many times and one of the good things about it is the roster compositions.  Everyone gets a mix of really good players and role players.

I will be gone all day today, so if we don't get the picks in by about 11am i will have to give my next 6 tomorrow. Not rushing just letting people know whats up.

Couldn't agree more.  Half the fun in this is searching for hidden gold as all the obvious choices disappear.

Ditto - although when it takes six rounds to get your last two bench players ...
