All,

In regards to this world and the contract modifications that have occurred. We received a ticket explaining the situation to us and we were told that the entire world and the commissioner backed the decision of modifying this contract. Given that information we went ahead and made the modification. Once the modification was made, several users began sending in support tickets saying that they did not back this decision. In the interest and fairness to the world we undid the change. We understand that we made a mistake initially, however, it is now corrected and the world can and should move forward.

In the future, the only time Customer Support will ever modify a contract for a user is if there is legitimate software bug or if an upset user begins to sign detrimental contracts that could corrupt a franchise.

To Patrick, and any other user that cares to read this:

The actions that I took in Mantle will be viewed in whatever light that anybody wants to see, I dont care.  I made those actions so that WIS would make the policy change that you have now made official with this statement.  The situation I was in I assume would fall under this statement right?  The previous owner made an absolutely insane signing (and released some major players) and when CS didnt want to at least make it a 1 yr contract let alone erasing it outright I went ballistic.  You (anybody reading this) may or may not believe it, but its a fact (that I did what I did to improve the game).  I am happy, if not proud to have been a contributing factor in you guys making this policy.  Lord knows I have taken more then enough flak for it.  But, I have thick skin, and this is after all the innerweb, and this is after all a game.
You took on a team that you knew had been damaged without doing any additional research.  You threw a tantrum when ADMIN balked at making more fixes than they already had done.   You took actions that actually caused more damage than the previous owner had done, and then you jumped ship.  Leaving me a huge freaking mess to clean up.

Yes, be happy, and be proud of what you did.

Jesus f-ing Christ, you are a piece of work.  How the hell you can keep coming back to these forums and acting like you are a friggin' HERO for what you did is beyond comprehension.  You need to STFU and stop trying to bring attention to yourself about this.

*******.
+1

This is an internet game that is played for fun.   I seldom get annoyed while playing it.   I can log out and do something constructive.   But every time greeny plays the "hero" card, I want to punch someone.  Preferrably someone who ends their sentences in "eh?"

And for the record . . . I have no real problem with greeny.  I've stated multiple times that I don't think that he did what he did with malicious intent, that in his own mind, in a temporary loss of clarity in his thinking process, he actually was trying to make a point "for the betterment of everybody".

But it was horribly misguided, and he failed miserably in what he was trying to do.

He needs to understand that, and STFU about it.  But when he starts pulling this B.S. out into the forums again, I'm going to set the record straight.

As long as he stops commenting on this, I'm good with him.  Won't play in another world with him because I can't trust him to not have another meltdown.  But he's not on my **** list in the forums.

I hardly care what he did.  You had to clean up the mess.  Didn't affect me at all.   But I find it terribly annoying that he somehow thinks he did something good or even accomplished anything at all.    Then again, maybe I have a problem with martyrs.

I find it terribly annoying this Greeny guy hijacked my thread.

You should be happy that no one is talking about your trade-rape team-building techniques.

So admin cuts this contract as easy as pie, but they didnt want to cut the contract that nearly everyone including and especially the commish TEC says that was an obvious and deliberate  stab at undermining the team and the world, and yet here they are willingly cutting this contract for a guy that is clearly still a very very good player?

Maybe the **** storm I created did make a real change in policy.
The first reference to it in this thread.

Oh, wait, can't be.  You only talk about it when someone else references it.

Dumbass.

only time I ever heard of that happening is when an owner signed multiple crappy contracts as a big "F U" to WIS because they wouldn't fix a contract on a team he inherited
This to me sounds like a clear reference to the poo-storm that I created... no?

Talk away, get at me if you want to learn how to build a good team.

Join a world where you don't have n00bs to rape and see how you do.    Or I can save you some time.  You won't fare well because you have no idea how to build a good team.

Has anybody ever actually been in a poo storm? It stinks.
3/21/2012 5:32 PM
This is good comedy.

But the rub is I have never trade raped a nOOb.  And still my teams are well built.  The irony of it all.

Your a moron. He offered me the trade, not the other way around.  But it isn't your world is it?  Your just trying to incite a response like a moron.

Trade raping, while despicable in its own right, is not against the rules, and does not constitute GOD/Admin making changes that should never be made.  The trade you are referring to was a fair one and one he offered to me originally.  I didn't go after him.

But to answer your question, it is partly how I build my power house team.  Through trades.  Not solely but partly.  It is not my responsibility to police another players trades....if I offer a crap trade to you and you accept, that is on you, not me.

This would indicate that you have.

This argument is as old as the 2nd seasons in HBD.    One guy preys on those who don't know any better.  World says "It's his team, he can do what he wants."  Owner builds a powerhouse.  World is slow to fill because no one wants the decimated teams.   Unqualified owners are let in to fill world.  Teams become turnstiles.   World has lots of problems.

Remind you of Mike Greenwell?
