I can't believe Jack Clark stayed around that long.

Sorry for the delay, I was busy during the day & then I was out at a place that does live band karaoke. It was pretty fun. Sorry for not leaving a proxy pick. Since you guys couldn't leave me Fisk or Jody Davis, the Mariners will draft probably the most innings left I the draft & take.....Doyle Alexander-P

The Twins take Catcher Jim Sundburgh with their pick & AL Bumbrey OF with the NYM pick.

I missed out by 1 season on Al's 8M+ year but his speed rating of 94 will add some zing to the line up

I'm happy with the add a player from the future, or not. I'd suggest 2016 for 1986, only because it pushes into a new player pool....

Agreed. I think it will be nice to add some additional talent to the pool. I'd be fine with 2006 or 2016 (or either). What might be fun too would be to give an option to go back. I understand wanting to keep the integrity of the theme and avoid having pitchers with 300+ innings. However, you could let us choose before the '86 season to look ahead in the future - or go back, maybe to like 1976 for example.

I think we're really skewing the idea of a progressive here. I get allowing one callback player at the beginning to give everyone something to start with, but it really waters things down if it keeps happening.

All you need to do is allow below average or average random AAA that owners can use to compensate for any shortage of IP or AB. There is really no reason to be that short in this era though.

I agree. Especially since we only have 20 teams.

Agreed...even though a 2006 option would add another stud to my team, I personally joined a single season prog to see more normal stats and to struggle a bit at times trying to find someone to fill positions. If we have to use a .220 hitting SS with C-/D ratings occasionally, then it just happens. RL teams have to suffer with it.

I enjoy using players not normally used by me...just my humble opinion.
