I think there is just something about low D that scares people. The problem, much like in the real NBA, is it’s hard to capture bad D in stats. So you when draft a bad D guy all you have to judge him by is your win/loss record which is obviously noisy.

The #1 PG on my whole board is still available, which baffles me

There he goes! I some how knew if I said something he would get picked. Rondo was my #1 PG in this whole draft.

He's butt. Or at least I hate using him, other people like him. I had him as the #9 PG.

He rebounds decently for a PG. He has 80-90 D. Over 50 EFG%. and over 30 ast%. Hard to replicate with anyone else.

And he offers my Duke pick with some Kentucky

The first year that they kept the steal statistic in the NBA the guy who led the league was Larry Steele.

What if the first guy to lead in boards was Jimmy Rebound? BTW - I love all the commentary about where players rank on everyone's boards, way more insight than the actual NBA draft coverage - which has no insight. I thought I was going to be in trouble picking near last (and I may still prove that theory, although thankfully I am not able to draft Paul George) but getting Boozer and Rondo (really hoped for Mullin) seems like a steal. I'm going out on a limb and predicting this team won't lose 21 in a row

I was nervous picking late would be brutal, but after seeing how it played it out I don't think any spot has a huge edge. There are definitely enough useful players left for all of us to build quality $50M teams.

Well, all of us besides BenJoker. I believe he is planning on losing 22 straight games.
