So this tells us that he runs the show, but is also on a leash. MAN once had dominion over the Earth, but lost that right when he ate the forbidden fruit

Jesus certainly is all powerful over him, and he has already crushed him; because he defeated Death at the cross.
In the end ,satan is forever in the lake of Fire.

as I believe I've mentioned before, just because it says something in the Bible, that does not make it true. You may have faith that it is true, but that does not make it true either.

It may tell YOU he runs the show, but that doesn't mean it tells everyone that.
Also, if you believe that Adam and Eve were the first two people on earth, that would mean we are all related. You, me, lennybruce, the Muslims, the Jews, the Blacks, the Arabs, the Hispanics, everyone.. WE all came from Adam and Eve, right? So, how can you not treat everyone as your brother and/or sister?

lenny, no comment on whether or not your logic is unassailable, but I assume you have realized by now that when lnf has no answer to a question posed to him, or the answer does not fit with his worldview, he resorts to this usual "you are going to hell" stuff. I
I don't recall seeing lennybruce ever saying there is no God, just as I have never said that. I have said, if there is a God he is not the God the crazy Canuck worships...at least I hope not.

100% correct.
I don’t know if there is or is not a God but IF there is a God that understands people on our level then I believe God is not pleased that people would have that God sending people to Hell for having diverse beliefs. IF God had emotions I believe that would decimate God.

I also believe that a lot of people who have been taught and do believe in God sending non or different believers to Hell would be happier souls if they were not dragging that around every day. It is probably a heavy weight. If their concept of God was of a higher being and an understanding loving being that cares about goodness ahead of religion affiliation it would lighten their load.

Just my opinion.

WHY? because God uses ordinary people, to do his will in and through them. As for the ddiciples being skeptical.. they wre . for a bit.. but you would be too, because you also, are ordinary people. To call them cowards in totally inaccurate. They refused to bow the 'the world' and it cost them their lives. Many people will die to defend a lie.. but the brave will stand for truth, no matter what the cost. This kind of thing is still happening today, in Red China and North Korea for eg: They are tortured for their faith. In Iran, they are beheaded for it. In Canada, they are fired for it, especially if they refuse to support LGBTQ. You have seen all this. Nothing about man has changed since Christ rose from the dead. He KNEW Judas was a traitor. Part of God's plan for our redemption. This had to happen. He is infinitely wise and we are not.

Your problem is that you fancy yourself as a cut above the norm.

“A man's pride shall bring him low: but honour shall uphold the humble in spirit.”

“Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resists the proud, and gives grace to the humble.”

If people would obey that, there would be a lot less strife in this world, because man seeks to exalt himself above all that is of God; and has 'evolved' into a power mad controlling narcisistic maniac, at best.

The question actually deserves a kick in the nuts.. as does the source; and I don't mean you



As for the question; it is totally inaccurate. They were anything but. Best is to read it for yourself and put your programmed bias on hold. AND stay away from idiots in our colleges who use that kind of brain-rot to explain away God. They are utter fools, and have knowledge, but no wisdom
