I am very sorry to hear about your dog, I hope you can feel better. A lot of people use this game as an escape so it could help take your mind off of things.

This a good example for people to understand. If you are on deck waiting for someone to pick and they take a long time, you can send a 2 person proxy list to me or other trusted users to post for you. Instead of waiting tirelessly for others, you can send a proxy and not have to worry about checking in for another day. A proxy list is a short list of players you want you give to someone else to post on your behalf. Sometimes people send 5 or 6 name long lists, but it doesn't have to be that long. Even if you send just 1 name, you could get lucky and if that person is available the draft proceeds and you don't get skipped. If the player was taken, then you're in the same place as you would be without a proxy. Bottom line is please send proxy lists when you can. don't send it to the person in front of you because you tip them off to who you're picking and they could steal your player. So send it to a person picking after you or far away from you in the draft order to be safe.

Very sorry about your dog. They are one of the best gifts God has given us.

I would also like to mention that it really helps a draft go smoother when owners at or near the turn are paying attention and ready. It typically doesn't take very long for your pick to come back around again. The draft really loses momentum and causes unforeseen issues like the unfortunate one above. If you make a pick at night and you're ready to go to bed but you are picking again in one or 2 picks...send a proxy.
