well, i'm getting cable again tomorrow.  and i start getting saturdays off on the fourth, so i'll actually be able to watch some flames games again.  not entirely sure if that's a good thing or not yet.  heh.  as for iginla, maybe age is catching up with him, or maybe he just doesn't have anyone to play with.  considering we're pretty much at the cap, we don't have a lot of star power on this team.  maybe it is time to trade iggy and kipper.  see if we can get some up and comers.  who's contracts are up next season?  does anyone have a list?  will there actually be some decent FAs to bid on?

as for the sutters, i think darryl probably just pushed the last nail in his coffin.  i'm not sure there's any flames fans left that want him to keep his job.  it's not like whoever takes his place could do any worse.  :>

How come it always seems like the Wings suck the refs off though??  Didnt cost us the game as we couldnt shut down the offense, despite trying to play shutdown hockey bs, but man that was brutally one sided

You know I hear it game after game after game... the Flames ran into a hot goalie??!! Talk about your bad luck.. they keep running into a hot goallie.. MAYBE just maybe it ain't the opposition goalie, IT'S THE LACK OF FINISH THE FLAMES FORWARDS HAVE!! Hedberg played okay last night for the Devils but I think the Flames made him look GREAT!..

Let's face it's lack of goal scoring or more to the point Scoring Touch... good at hitting the goalie or missing the net all together.

 I think the Canucks would be better off with a cardboard cutout..pay the the guy that  cut him out of cardboard 20 grand and save  9.998 million...they still move the same speed crease to crease..

Randle?.....Remember the old rod hockey games?  Where you moved your goalie on a metal rod back and forth to make saves??  Put a big plastic goalie in net and let one lucky fan sit behind the glass and control the plastic goalie.....Great promotion and a big improvemnet in goal!!!!

 Being a betting man like iam ,ill be dropping money on the Flamers if Luonchoke is in net ,if its Schneider ill re think my bet ? iam liking the Flames after the 3-0 win tonite....its all about the coinage

first game i get to actually watch this season.  hope it's at least a close game and not a blowout.  unless of course it's a blowout for calgary.  heh.  :>

 Battle of the overated goalies tonite,.. first goalie to up his game to "average" his team wins tonite..who hasnt scored for the Flames? thats usually the guy that breaks his o'fer against Luonchoke
