When I looked for "hockey sims" and found GHL, it seemed like the best of both worlds, dynasy format that allowed private league and free to play.

If we come to a screeching halt at some point, I'd be cool with trying a different site. But I don't think I would get involved in anything other than a free game except for here on WIS.

In the meantime, I'm going to keep on keeping on and hope they have things working by the time our playoffs start.

However, if we have to pay for it on here (which we almost certainly will), I doubt I'd stay in. I wouldn't be able to afford to.

I'm seeing a lot of little glitches that may or may not be canaries in the coal mine.

I acquired Sahli in a trade with Sleepy. He was uni #50. I already had Akimov wearing #50, so the SIM changed Sahli's # to 51, like it's supposed to.

When I acquired Petrov from Finnski a few days later, he was #78. I already had Roarty wearing #78.

I still have (2) #78s. Affects nothing, but a glitch.

I haven't earned any interest since May 10th. Am I missing the $3K per day. Not even a little, but it shouldn't be happening.

On April 12th, at 6:00PM (server time so 8PM Eastern), my open league team was supposed to complete two different trades and play a game all at the same time.

One of the trades was completed, the other just went away. I didn't cancel the trade proposal, nor was I notified the other guy canceled it. It just didn't happen as if it had never been agreed to.

I don't know if I was as attuned to stuff like this last August (it was only our 2nd season) so I don't know if stuff like this was going on before the big server crash.

I guess we play until we can't.

The game was fine until arvid started posting pics of DiPietro...

Now the game is broke just like DiPietro.
