I moved some things around on my worst two teams and am feeling a lot better. I was able to eliminate the Covington PF mins by moving Pippen to PF for 15 minutes on the Luka Rookie team.

Why do I feel like Simmons and Embiid is the Penny and Shaq of our time? Neither fully developed, but at least one of them could figure it out with another team, and a whole lot of what if’s. Like Penny and Shaq, I can’t help but think they’ll break up, either due to frustration with each other, the constant media scrutiny, or just EB’s mediocrity (as an executive, not as a SIM player). In more ways than we care to admit, history often echoes itself

he started with absolutely nothing(10-72 anyone?) and immediately made the sixers relevant again...and he did it while still learning the game, coming off major injuries, without a true point guard, and in a league that is harder than ever for a big man to succeed...he continued to keep us winning through three different gms, a revolving roster, and a lame duck coach

its really mind boggling how badly they screwed up building around him and simmons...elton brand f*cked us as a player and now hes doing it as a gm...f*ck that dude

but most of all F*CK YOU MARKELLE!...brand and his awful decisions never happen if you just turn into the player you were supposed to be

I get it. I just think it will be easier to build a title team around Simmons than around Joel.

My eval is fair, pretty much matches my own thoughts. I have one team that’s definitely intended to be my best - it has the best MJ, the best Marion, the best Brent Barry, and arguably the best Gasol - and if that team isn’t reallly good, the rest of em certainly won’t be.

Ash, thanks for the time spent doing evals. Always good getting another set of eyes. As you said, I did try to do that with the later picks. After our Savage 1 League I was thinking I did not have a good handle on these high cap/no cap leagues. The ODL win injected some confidence so we will see how we do. Savage 1 had two teams where I had to play around with usage. No worries about that with this cast. Thanks again.

1) criticize (if this is how you feel)

4) talk about the player distribution

Bear in mind:
1) I know what you're going to say about Westbrook
2) The picks are made, so they are what they are at this point. Nothing else I can do to grab players I don't have, although I can use other seasons I do have
3) You can hate it, but give me some sort of reason
4) Try not to make this some sort of pattern on my end (i.e. "you tend to," "you usually")
5) Please, please keep the GIFs and other trollish comments to a minimum
6) I don't think much of this team right now. Maybe I should? eh, probably not.
7) You don't have to say anything if you don't feel like it

I’m not sure this team is anything special, but if it’s your fifth best team you’re in good shape. Still don’t think Cheeks was the way to go but Lebron can cover for a lot.

The thing you really should learn is that one person - or even multiple people - disagreeing with a pick (or two) you made doesn't mean ****; you put together a solid team. You know it, so show it by beating people's ***** in the league. And then shove the crow they'll have to eat so far down their throats they'll never say **** to you again. Unsolicited eval... I look at this team and think 90s Knicks. Teams will have to grind it out against this squad. Lockdown D and there won’t be many nights these guys get out rebounded. I like Dwight in the SIM. Had success with him in no cap leagues and guys were always trying to get me to trade him in the URAPP so that says something. Clyde fills the stat sheet and provides perimeter D. Kyrie gives some perimeter shooting and Kemba makes for a good 3 man rotation with some Ron Harper sprinkled in. The 3 spot is what defines this team with defense, rebounding, and post scoring but some guys who pass the ball too. More strong rebounders in the 4/5 spots. This team reminds me of the RL squads I coached against that put a shot up and continuously crashed the off glass.
