Some people play the lottery for years to get what a head coach makes in half a season, and yet he coaches like the ******* computer in Madden.

When someone gives you millions to coach a team, why not do what you want?

Because you'd like to get millions for several seasons not just one.

Would you say Happy Jack is a pretty decent place for people looking for a competitive world?

Do I know this is a loaded question, because if you disparage the world, you also disparage both your championships?

Most of them have been inbreeding for so long that it's entirely possible that their mother is also their sister and cousin.   Their family trees resemble a bunch of raked leaves.
where do the moose fit in on the Canadian family trees?

No, I have not.  I was part of Aaron S1 and, if you're not playing with owners who, at the very least, feel the same way about competitive balance as you do, it's not fun.
I do think they are good places to learn.   Public world owners get ****** when I say this but there's no implied commitment beyond this season when you sign up.  As a private world commish, I feel like owners join my world with the intent to build a dynasty not leave after 1-2 seasons.  Doesn't always work out like that but, if I see an owner with a bunch of "one and done", I'm not letting him join.

I have no idea.   I do not enjoy the game when I have no chance to make the playoffs at the A/S break.   Tankers have no chance after spring training.

I don't think you'll like my answer.   I left Happy Jack, after winning my 2nd WS, because I felt HJ was returning to it's early season ways when 3-4 owners built powerhouses via some "questionable" tactics while 25 stood around and said "It's your team, do what you want."    In short, the esteemed commish traded a nothing rookie salary players for a nothing AAA salary player.   While, on the surface, this looks like a nothing deal, it gave the owner getting the cheaper salary enough cap room to sign a 1st round and supplemental round pick.  That's a pretty big deal.  When I pointed this out, the commish  requested that the world veto as he said he didn't really think it out.   It passed and I left after winning the WS.  Last time I checked, the same dominant team that had won the first three WS(and a couple others) had won every WS since then.  So you'll have to tell me what direction the world took after my departure.

Moose DNA has been squirted all over their family leaf piles.

when's the last time you crapped your pants?

Did you know that now that Mantle is a private world, that it will be the first private world to roll to S18 in a month or so?

Can Mantle now make the claim of being the oldest private world?
7/28/2010 8:33 AM
I don't recall crapping my pants so I assume it was a kid.   But I've farted and left some "underwear tossing" skidmarks.

I knew it was private.
No, it's a S1 or S2 private world.

I asked you a question... can I really be upset when you answer it truthfully?
7/28/2010 9:27 AM
Or are you just used to the typical babies around these parts?
7/28/2010 9:27 AM
You can.   I won't care but it is an option.
7/28/2010 9:28 AM
It's obvious that the quality of HJ has improved since the addition of me.
But, I get a little tired of the MG folk sitemailing me, begging to have me back. Can you post something in the league chat telling them to back off?
7/28/2010 10:09 AM
I will not let your delusions convince me to post nonsense in the world chat.
7/28/2010 10:11 AM
Wouldn't that just be another reason added to the already numerous amount of reasons?
7/28/2010 10:12 AM
I don't need another reason.
