Yep, and I'm a country boy from GA. B_L has certainly tried to turn that on me a time or to. Although, I'm not sure anyone from California should be making fun of anybody else's state.

Lets compare:
They have a coast. We have a coast.
His state is poor, so is mine.
His State contributes significant amounts of welfare, so does mine.
His state has a movie industry, which guess what, is rapidly moving to my state.
My state can balance a budget, his can't.
His state has arguably the best secondary education in the country. Outside of Emory and GA Tech, ours sucks.
We whip his *** in sports.
Sounds pretty even to me.
LOL

I want to play with MA
  • We have a coast
  • We are not poor
  • IDK about welfare
  • We have the best sports teams in the country
  • Our budget is fine.
  • We have the best 2ndary education and it is not close.
  • Our weather is terrible
Kansas sucks.
  • no coast
  • Poor
  • Idk
  • We have.... Agriculture?
  • BROWNBACK!
  • Our ed sucks
  • We have.... The Jayhawks?

you forgot to say MA has the most annoying sports fans in the country.

I say this having lived in MA for a couple of years.
Your drivers suck too.

I didn't try to turn it on you. I said I wasn't surprised that a guy from Georgia thinks racism isn't a thing and blacks are only worse off due to their own actions.

But, no, GA and CA are really not comparable.

Alaska also has a coast. Let's not pretend all coasts are the same.
CA isn't poor. Not sure what you're measuring there.
What do you mean "contributes significant amounts to welfare?"
The economic impact of Georgia's film industry is est $6 billion. California's is $300 billion.
A balanced budget isn't everything. Sometimes there are other priorities.
Yep.
Really? Through the 2017 world series, California has 30 major league sports championships. GA has 1.
Nope. Not even.

Yalls coast is better, oh well.

California has the highest cost of living adjusted poverty rate in the country at 20.6%. Sounds pretty poor to me. You even said yourself that outside of the big cities, there is no money.

Yall have had a film industry for much longer. Of course it's going to be bigger. That pendulum is swinging because y'all want to tax people and companies to oblivion,

Im going to try not balancing my budgets in my businesses since it's no big deal. Let's see how that works out.

Im a college sports guy. We (the southeast) own every college sport, hockey and basketball excluded. Pro sports are a mixture of talent from all over the country. College sports are mostly local talent.

Todd's right. You are an angry person. Try having some fun for once.

You know that, of two single people making $80k a year, the one living in Los Angeles pays less in state income tax than the one living in Atlanta, right?

The goal of a business (profit) is different from the goal of a state (effectively governing citizens).

Im a college sports guy.

I could not give less of a **** about amateur sports. I won a local golf tournament, where do I mark one for California?

Did you really? That's awesome. Golf is addictive. I'm definitely not going to win any tournaments, but I play quite a bit. Are you on an amateur tour?

From what I can deduce he's a 40ish, white male.

And apparently a scratch golfer.

It's amazing how different regions value different levels of sports. The North and west love their pro sports. The south and southeast love the college game. I guess it's a product of who's good at what. Our pro teams are less than desirable, but we run the show in college. Cali has some decent college baseball. Fullerton is always really good. I find the college game to be much more pure. I can't watch the NFL anymore. It feels like every game someone is being carted off with a back or neck injury.
