nah, NHN is in ok shape.

$4m in the bank, no loans or contract issues, level 9 everything.

its my tourney league team im worried about. theyre $8.5m in the red, two loans to pay off and little accomplished on upgrades.

but they have moved up to 4th in a tier 4 league on the strength of a 13-game winning streak.

interesting question w/no answer:

how are they going to determine the draft order after the lockout, when none of our teams have played?

everybody ought to be prepared for all four rounds in case they luck into thee #1 overall pick like Pittsburgh did w/Crosby.

Here is a little something from my tourney league team that puzzles me.
Tier 4, League number 371 - It's the under performance of my left wing on line 2  I use a positional offense.

The right wing has 5 even strength goals in 17 games. The center has 8 in 20. But my left wing has only 1 in 20. He has 6 power play goals so it isn't like he can't shoot.

Any idea why he isn't getting the puck in even strength situations? 20 games have been played, so it doesn't seem like it is just a fluke any more.

Oh wait. We're talking about the old league? My Slashers are $15.4M in the black, but we also have 9 expiring contracts.
