I usually re-evalute my team every 40 games. I wouldn't give up on a guy who I felt had the ratings after 8 starts(8x5=40) but I'd change his role until he proved me wrong. Or, at the very least, adjust his PC/pull.

40 games is going to be more like 125-150 AB. Keep in mind that these are still very small sample sizes. I wouldn't just eliminate someone I felt was BL-quality but was underperforming. I'd just change their role. Now, if I thought they were borderline, that's another story. I have no problem shipping them off to Siberia.

tec sort of handled the answer. The NFL doesn't care who watches their sport as long as they have money. And, after Janet's nipple-slip, the NFL doesn't want to offend anyone. So they go with old rockers. Although the choice of Prince surprised me. I'm assuming they held his mother at gunpoint and said "Do something controversial and she dies."
